Singing with residents at Fallbrook Woods, Portland, Maine

Sorcha performs regularly at several Southern Maine assisted living and memory care facilities, including Fallbrook Woods and St. Joseph's Rehabilitation and Residence

Music is known to have the power to evoke past memories, empower those who have trouble speaking to remember lyrics to countless songs, and bring people in wheelchairs onto the dance floor.

In 2016-2017, she received an Iguana Music Fund grant - courtesy Club Passim - to expand this work. The grant funds performances at 10 assisted living centers with limited funding for, or access to, live music.
