"Walk It Once", Sorcha's newest collection released in December 2006, unveils a greater level of powerful elegance and soul in her voice and songcraft than ever before. The songs are for minds in motion; some roll you slowly down dirt roads, some flip you around sharp curves, and some follow you through the unpredictable turns of your own well-worn path. They all invite you to take each step with the awareness that it is fleeting and precious. She is backed by drummer Zak Trojano and multi-instrumentalist and engineer Pete Morse, with special guests Frank Ferrel on fiddle and Roger Green on cello, who masterfully capture the jazz, blues, bluegrass, and latin elements underlying the folk-roots aesthetic.

"Balance" is Sorcha's debut, featuring folk-pop originals that invite you up close and personal in a calm wave of nostalgia, then walk you down to the edge of a ragged, storm-weathered coastline. Released in 2001, this CD includes a backing band and was recorded almost entirely after 11 pm. It's a must-have in your Sorcha collection.
