They have performed in listening rooms, clubs and festivals, including Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield, ME; One Longfellow Square and Portland House of Music and Events in Portland, ME; Allagash Brewery Festival in Portland, ME; Cold River Radio Show in New Hampshire; and various private events.

When each of these Maine singer-songwriters steps on stage – at a folk festival, in a rock club or in a living room – they immediately capture the audience with their presence, vocal strength and artful stories.

Independent touring artists in their own right, Connor and Sorcha share similar musical backgrounds.

When they team up as a duo, their harmonies alone can carry the show.

Add rich blues-funk grooves, contemplative imagery and nods to various traditions, and you’ll find this collaboration has staying power.

During the cold Maine winter of 2009, jazz-infused harmonies met bluegrass roots in Jo’s small kitchen. Two years later they hit the road with spot-on vocal harmonies and groove driven, genre bending arrangements of original songs and select covers.

Weilding acoustic guitar and banjo, Sorcha “unveils a suite of musical styles that shows a wide-ranging songwriting ability…witty verses with smart rhymes” (Sam Pfeifle, Portland Pheonix) as Jo rolls her classical cello background into funky bluegrass chops a-la Crooked Still and Ben Sollee.

Their live performances are toe-tappingly catchy, moving and downright joyful – from the 2012 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist showcase to Club Passim to the west coast.
